OKAY. My computer has been giving me error messages since Friday and making me have to refresh a page about ten times before "unable to connect: server could not be found" goes away. And my other internet-related programs aren't faring much better. It stopped briefly on Saturday morning, but then I went out last afternoon to a friend's and when I came back this morning: same exact thing, only getting worse.

At this point, I can barely access posts/threads, if at all. I'm going to go off for something this afternoon, and then check back. If it goes back to working, I will try replying to any threads I left behind and comment to new posts, but. . . if I'm slow with replies or stop entirely, that's why.

Timezone/Language: Eastern Standard Time. Until June 21, I have to be in school from approximately 7:00am until 2:00pm on weekdays and usually have to crash before 1:00am. On the weekends... l-lol there is no schedule, I do my own thing. But if I'm swamped with work or exhausted, I might only be on for an hour or two before signing off. As for language, I speak English and some French.

Goals: Have a good time, be more confident with my characters, get to know everyone.

Betaing: Hit me up any time! Especially if you're from my canon, but whatever works. DISCLAIMER: I may be slow. But I'll do basic checks for grammar/syntax, then head onto effectiveness of the canon, voice issues, y/n on the jokes, etc. I'll try to be as helpful as possible. How Do I Play?: COMMENT NINJA EXTRAORDINARE. I hate posting. I'm horrible and slow and I end up feeling terrible when I realize I'm twenty minutes behind. However, since I'm still in school right now, I'm often working at the same time that I'm threading. Thus! I will enter a post, reply to anyone who jumps me (if slowly), and leave it there. I don't jump nearly as often as I should. But once I'm out of school, this should be better.

Also, in terms of characters. Again, time issues! But I try to get them all out as often as possible. Which is laughable compared to everyone else's idea of "often." Working on it~

Thread Jumping: Feel free to jump me anytime! No need to ping me to ask first. Well--I usually get notifications, but if it's sitting for over ten minutes, then let me know |D;

I, however, am very shy about jumping threads. So if you want me to jump you and I haven't, ping me for it. It is absolutely no reflection on my feelings about YOUR playing; it's because I am a retard and go "omg I'll be annoying them *ANGST*" By all means, kick me and say "COME PLAY WITH ME WHORE >(" since I really need to get over this player angst at some point. At worst, I will say that I'm too tired to pick up any more threads and that I'll make room for it later on.

Thread Dropping: o-okay yeah so. I do this a lot, and I really apologize for it ;; This never, ever means that I hate you, your threads, and your mom. Generally, I drop if...

1. If the thread seems finished. If I'm wrong about this, just kick me in IRC.

2. I have to leave for an extended amount of time. I figure that after five/six hours, the other person may have lost interest in the thread. Again, if I'm wrong, kick me in IRC.

3. The characters started threading somewhere else. Again--well, you know.

4. Exhaustion and/or brain failure on my part.

5. ... I forgot about it YEAH YOU CAN REALLY KICK ME THEN.

SO basic rule of thumb: I drop when I think it's done and/or something happened to interrupt it for awhile. If you do not agree, kick me. We good? We good.

Crack vs Emo: I usually let threads run as they will. If your character wants to be emo with mine, feel free! If your character wants to have lulz adventures on pure crack with mine, feel free! ... well, I encourage the crack more. Just because it's good times. Especially for Hitsugaya, since he is tiny and grumpy.

For my characters, Kagura's emo is as nonexistant as Hitsugaya's sense of humor. Rosette is riiiight in the middle and very flexible. However, like I said, all three of them are open for anything.

Comfort Levels: I'm very flexible and usually answer any requests with "yeah, go ahead! ♥" Zeeen. However, I prefer to keep my action tags short and sweet, and I'm... pretty bad at fighting/HOT scenes XD; If you want to do them, S'OKAY just ping me on IRC first! Especially for fights. But be aware that it will probably be laughable. Also, since this comes up a lot, it is a-okay to use comedic violence on my characters at any point in time. No need to ask! This applies for boobsquishing as well, in Hitsugaya's case.

If I violated your comfort levels, tell me immediately ;; I WILL listen and delete comments if necessary. I don't want to unintentionally make anyone uncomfortable.

Concrit: Oh god yes. If there is anything wrong with my characterization/playing, please do let me know. It doesn't matter if it's minimal, or extremely harsh--I want to know what's on your mind. There are concrit posts up on all my characters' journals, and I post at cfud_concrit weekly as well. Emails or PMs are fine too.

Clothing/appearance:

So probably four or five days out of the week, Rosette will be wearing her nun's habit; she has a few of these to change into. Since she's been away from the Order for so long, she's taken to leaving the headdress off but otherwise keeps everything as shown in the picture (e.g. boots, gloves). In this case, she packs a couple of guns right on her side. However, the rest of the week, she opts for more casual clothes. Usually, this means a light-colored blouse or sweater, a long skirt with leggings, and boots. In this case, she still packs a gun or two; they're just strapped to her thigh. Only on special occasions will she dress up. Last but certainly not least, she always has the pocketwatch around her neck.

Rosette is 162cm (5'4"), and is slender without being delicate. She's about a C cup, so she doesn't boast unbelievable proportions but is still curvy and well-built. Her hair is blonde and a little past shoulder-length, and is tied up in the two semi-pigtails except when she's sleeping or on very rare occasions. She wears light make-up most days. Also, her eyes are blue and otherwise unremarkable.

Habits/mannerisms/body language:

Rosette speaks confidently and naturally most of the time, with a tendency to make short remarks with even more emphasis (!). She is by no means quiet, but she isn't exactly yelling all the time either. Instead, she channels a lot of her energy through body language; in conversations she is almost always gesturing, putting a hand to her hip, tapping her foot, putting a hand through her hair, or anything similar. If she's feels comfortable with the person she's speaking to, she has few inhibitions about physical contact. As I said on the serious poll, "be it hair ruffles, playing with hair, headpats, pokes, prods, smacks, hits, kicks, noogies, punches, shoves, face-pulling, dragging"... it really all works for her. She will only hug, lean, or cling to people closer to her, and very rarely touches other people's hands :< I usually put any actions [like so].

Also, Rosette is a mood-swinging MASTER. One minute she can be bonking you over the head, and the next she can be "oh hay 'sup :D". Her expressions generally reflect her mood: if she's happy she's smiling, if she's angry she's SCOWLING, and so on. Except when she's depressed; in that case, she still tries to smile but ends up with an expression that just does not fit her normal personality (thus it's easy to tell when something's wrong).

Typical Daily Routine:

Will gladly sleep until ten or eleven, unless someone comes to wake her up earlier. This isn't easy; in canon, she has to be shoved out of a window and into a pond before she wakes up. Anyway, after waking up, she will stagger to her feet and go to clean up. She may or may not fall asleep in the middle of her shower or brushing her teeth. When that's all done, she'll change into her clothes for the day, take care of hair and make-up, and go to get something to eat. And then may fall asleep at breakfast again, o Rosette.

Throughout the day, she usually opts to hang out with her friends but doesn't mind making casual conversation with other people in camp. Generally, she and Chrno are not too far off from one another at any given time because lol partners. She pops into the woods to practice her shooting every day or every other day (depending on how she feels), and takes long walks around camp. Flopping on the grass and taking a nap is always A+ too. She rarely skips meals. Finally, she probably aims to go bed around 10pm or 11pm, although she can and DOES often stay up much later.

Favourite Haunts:

Mess Hall, the woods, the smack dab in the middle of camp, the chapel (at least sometimes), her cabin.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswitch/spit at/step on/etc?: I'm fine with it, but there is a problem of the contract. So please do ping me up first.

Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: You're probably going to get slapped or yelled at. At least if it's out of the blue. Even if she initiates the contact, she'll still shove people away after a couple of seconds :|b

Maim/murder/death: Injuries are fine and dandy, but maiming and death would be uh major emo. Ping me up first in any case. ALSO Rosette doesn't normally shoot at other people, unless she plans to miss (e.g. just a warning) or the offender is really presenting a danger.

Be aware too that if Chrno's nearby... uh. Not a good idea to mess with his contractor in any way, shape, or form.

What's okay to mention around her: Whatever you want! If you want to poke her about her pocketwatch and contract with Chrno, s'okay. However, her brother and Aion are trauma buttons, so poking her further than "... my brother's missing" will bother her a lot.

Physical traits: Perfectly healthy teenage girl, complete with a nice rack. The only unusual thing is that her lifespan is much shorter than average and that doesn't manifest itself physically.

Abilities: Rosette is a talented exorcist, especially for her age, and is well-versed in firearms, holy water, and whatever else she might need to defeat an opponent. If she loses her guns, however, she's still not powerless. She's strong and she will not hesitate to kick or punch someone right where it hurts.

She is also a terror behind the wheel and destruction follows her wherever she goes.

Secrets: The true nature of her relationship with Chrno, including the pocketwatch and all the details of the contract, is kept under wraps. Additionally, she won't discuss her brother or Aion if she can help it.

Note to psychics: ...nothing really. Unless they can sense that a good chunk of Rosette's soul/lifespan is missing, and that she's had a major traumatic experience (her brother being taken away).

If your character can sense it, the pocketwatch around her neck is serving as a seal for Chrno's power and thus "holding back" the decrease of her lifespan. Granted, it's weak as long as it's sealed, but it is there.

Cooking: Canon says she kind of sucks at it, but she'll make you eat it anyway. AND YOU BETTER EAT YOUR CARROTS OR ELSE.

Emo/Angst/Drama: Shoot. Rosette can deal out advice, listen, or even offer a helpful smack if she thinks you're getting too worked up or giving up too easily. And her situation by nature makes her vulnerable to the occasional "... :(", so I don't mind playing that out.

Character Age: 16
Canon: It all begins in the Roaring Twenties, when a
pseudo-religious organization known as the Magdalan Order gathers exorcists
and militia to combat a rising demonic presence throughout the American
continent. In the Order's New York branch, Sister Rosette Christopher and
her demon partner, Chrno, strive to surpass any opposition set in front of
them, erase the horrors of their pasts, and convince their boss to give them
another car. It wasn't like they were aiming for that building
anyway.

Rosette doesn't exactly fit the job description for a nun. Not only does she
swear frequently and perform daily curses rather than daily prayers, but she
routinely points a loaded gun at whatever happens to be bothering,
attacking, and/or groping her at the moment. The lucky ones get away with
physical abuse and screaming. Also, although she has proved herself a very
capable exorcist, she hates to sit back and follow orders. Even if it means
putting herself right in the heart of danger, she wants above all to do what
she wants, not what others tell her to do.

What isn't so easily seen is the great burden Rosette must carry: her life
is steadily being depleted in a contract with Chrno to allow him to live and
fight beside her. Furthermore, she can constantly see the progress of her
death by means of a stopwatch that she wears around her neck. As a result of
this limited lifespan, she decides to live her life to the fullest and make
use of the time she has left. And if anyone else happens to emo, she'll
smack some sense into them.

Sample Post:

Attention, all you lost lambs! This area is now under the jurisdiction of
the Magdalan Order, due to reports of some intense supernatural activity.
Serving you today will be yours truly, Sister Rosette Christopher, and my
assistant, Chr--...wait, where the hell did he go?! Hmph! Well, he's
probably just shy or still sleeping the lazy bastard, so
you'll meet him later. Chrno, wherever you are, I hope you realize that
you're going first into the questionable buildings for this.

Anyway, just sit back, relax, and let me do my job! If you don't comply,
I'll be forced to issue a warning shot. And god help you if you keep
bothering me, because although I may not shove gospel down your throat, I
will fire it directly into your forehead. Understood? Let's see some
nodding, people, you can at least pretend to be excited. Do I have to speak
boonie to you or something? God, I better get a pay raise for this
shit. These people look like they might have inbred a little too
much.

Now, I understand that situations like this can be stressful and confusing.
In light of that, I will be supplying inhabitants with a copy of
Badtouched By An Angel, a holy water spray bottle, and a few
Vatican-approved explosives of your very own! Because if there's anything
that honors our Lord and Savior, it's the bloody chunks of unholy monsters
sailing into the sky. Just don't use them on each other, kids, I already had
to deal with that last week.
